The hero-archetype is dominant in movie pop-culture.
Although this life-lesson people are supposed to gain from these movies is shallow and outright unrealistic.

Looking at the 2022 box office reveals that the majority of the top grossing films feature a hero archetype protagonist. In fact it's almost dominated by it. 12 out of the 20 top-grossing films is of the hero-type and from the top-5 there's 4.
